All programs feature Matt on Piano, Saxophone, & Vocals, and can be performed with Matt acting as both conductor and performer/host, OR if orchestra has its own conductor Matt can be strictly the performer/host!

FROM SAMOA TO SINATRA

As heard on SiriusXM's Siriusly Sinatra Channel, and Matt's recently released CD/Recording of the same name. A unique tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra, as well as a personal tribute to Matt's legendary Jazz singer mom, Mavis Rivers, who was personally signed by Mr. Sinatra to his Reprise Records Label as its first female artist. Chronicling through music and stories how a little Samoan girl ended up recording/performing with the music & entertainment royalty of the day. A one-of-a-kind exploration the Great American Songbook.

An inventive mash-up of Popular All Time Classical Melodies reimagined, and all newly arranged, for the contemporary Pops Orchestra by Matt Catingub. The highlight of the program is Matt’s original work: Three Shades Of Blue, Concerto For Violin Jazz Trio And Orchestra, recently premiered by Violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti & Maestro Thom Wilkins, with the Omaha Symphony.
